An authentic Mid-Century Modern vintage Italian rattan tiki bar. Produced in Italy during the 1950s-1960s, this iconic organic design is often associated with the Italian Riviera style designers like Tito Agnoli and Pierantonio Bonacina. Crafted with thick sturdy bent rattan reeds tacked tightly along the front. An outward flare or bulge in the lower reed wrapping provides structural depth and a high-end sculptural look. Dual tiered workspace with a raised top serving shelf over and elongated prep counter, each with faux wood vinyl coated surfaces. The suspended secondary shelf underneath the main top is outfitted with three removable plastic cup inserts to hold bottles or utensils. Good quality and craftsmanship. Circa 1950-1970.

A vintage Mdina art glass vase handcrafted in Malta featuring characteristic sea foam green color with earth toned banded swirl design. Heavy, thick walled, wide bulbous main body tapers slightly toward the base and is accented by a distinct flared collar neck. The horizontal banding style reflects the innovative techniques introduced by Mdina founder Michael Harris in the late 1960s and 1970s. This is an unusually large example with nice proportions, beautiful form and unique pale green color.
Michael Harris (1933-1994) was a pioneering English glassworker and designer. Seeking to prove the commercial viability of the standalone studio glass workshop, Harris and his business partner Eric Dobson moved to Malta and established Mdina Glass in a converted ex-RAF hangar, making it the first producer of handmade glassware on the Maltese islands.

A Kosta Boda "Tobago" art glass vase designed by Kjell Engman. Tall, slender silhouette with slightly oval form and elongated thinly tapered neck. Transparent pale yellow tint with hint of green and striking amber red vertical stripe curves down one side, creating a vibrant dual-tone contrast. This bi-color look was achieved using complex incalmo technique, fusing separate sections of colored hot glass together while on the blowpipe, a method heavily favored by Engman during his 1990s studio production. A vintage mid century Italian Murano art glass parrot or exotic bird sculpture by Alfredo Barbini. Rare bright yellow color, hand-blown using bullicante technique (controlled bubbles) on the body and wings paired with gold leaf inclusions (aventurine) throughout the glass. Tall, elegant curved body and curled tail feathers. Presents beautifully, but unfortunately, it has a few flaws: a crack in the tail feather and internal fractures in the front of the head and stem of the perch. Price reflects the condition. A Chinese Art Deco pictorial landscape wool rug from Baotou in the Inner Mongolia region. Beautifully scenic view of a village on a lake surrounded by mountains with trees, houses, a pagoda and a bridge or aqueduct. Rich saturated color, the main color field predominantly indigo blue, with orange, tans, green, mauve and pink. A variation in the length of the pile lends a three dimension quality to the houses. Nicely detailed border design with a band of orange fret or key pattern, and a wider band of quatrefoil in pink and tan. In overall good condition with vibrant color and showing little wear.
