A Kosta Boda "Tobago" art glass vase designed by Kjell Engman. Tall, slender silhouette with slightly oval form and elongated thinly tapered neck. Transparent pale yellow tint with hint of green and striking amber red vertical stripe curves down one side, creating a vibrant dual-tone contrast. This bi-color look was achieved using complex incalmo technique, fusing separate sections of colored hot glass together while on the blowpipe, a method heavily favored by Engman during his 1990s studio production.
