The bottom was shortened at one point with new feet and bottom plank. Restoration on front left cornice. Circa 1800-1820.

Excellent craftsmanship and grand in scale at 10 feet tall, the provenance of this buffet is a chateau in St. Remy de Provence. The top has a chapeau de gendarme crown above a beautifully hand carved ribbon and wedding basket and opens to three newer shelves made of pine. The bottom opens to one shelf and has an elaborately carved apron and large snail toes. Working locks with one key for both doors. All original. Waxed patina. This antique is a museum piece. Grand scale and excellent quality. Circa 1740-1760.

An 18th century Country French enfilade, or sideboard, from Picardie (Northern France) made of solid apple wood and oak. Beautiful hand-carved details with scalloped framed door panels and apron, floral vines and stylized flowers, patterned drawers and corner decoration. Two cabinet doors on the sides, each with working lock and key, brass hinges and iron escutcheons, open to two interior shelves. Two drawers and one false drawer at the bottom, possibly used as a hidden compartment, accessed by pulling out the center drawer, each with small brass knobs (not matching). Beautiful dark amber color with waxed patina. Nice proportions with tall height and shallow depth. Well-crafted using mortise and tenon and pegged construction and sitting on sturdy legs. Minor restoration: the front left corner support was replaced at a later date and is made of oak. Normal wear for a 250 year old antique. Circa 1840-1860

A 19th century French Japonisme style corner cabinet with sturdy burnt bamboo frame and solid rosewood panels. Above the cabinet is an open shelf supported by decorative bamboo fretwork and topped with a cast brass acorn finial in the corner. The cabinet has a small dovetailed drawer above a solid rosewood door and opens to one fixed shelf. Several small cast bronze Menuki samurai sword medallions are tacked to the face of the cabinet for decoration, a few are missing and some are broken. Both the drawer and the door have working locks with one key. Exceptional quality and craftsmanship. All original. Circa 1870-1890.

Designed with a full-length mirror back to reflect light and beautifully highlight chocolates or fine collectibles. Fitted with wood shelving supported by decorative brass scroll brackets. : Elevated above a solid, single-door base cabinet detailed with geometric paneling and matching turned block feet. Cabinet has working lock and key opens to one shelf. The mirror is old with nice silvered patina and is as found, but may not be original to the piece. The three shelves are of graduating depth and are expertly fitted to the molding of the mirror frame. Excellent craftsmanship. A versatile piece, the shelves may by removed for use as a hall mirror. This was once a bedside cabinet and the bottom drawer pulls out to reveal a bidet with green fabric surface and handled lid, all removable, but retained for historic interest.
