A fine 19th century French Empire style side table or nightstand made of solid walnut and veneer of walnut and finished on all four sides. Expertly crafted tambour door made of precisely cut solid walnut strips. Book matched veneers on the face of the door and drawer. Beautifully patterned wood grain. Cabinet door with brass knob opens to one interior shelf. Hidden dovetailed drawer under the newer black veined marble top (as found). Solid walnut turned columns with cast bronze decoration. Shipping via white glove delivery only. Circa 1820-1830
