A 19th century French Louis XV style table vitrine or display case made of beech and pine. Oval quatrefoil shaped hinged glass top lifts up to allow access to a red velvet fabric lined interior. Hand carved flower buds and bows adorn the apron. Cabriolet legs detailed with an overlapping carved motif. An ideal piece for jewelry or to display a special collection of small objects. Shown with an assortment of Limoges porcelain boxes (sold separately). Original glass has light scratches. Velvet is worn and lifting in places. Minor losses to carving. Circa 1840-1860.
