An early 20th century French Louis Philippe style mirror with curved top corners and inner bead border. Bright gilt finish with red clay under rub. In very good condition with minor losses and touch-ups. Stamp on back: Marly Miroitier a Bordeaux. Founded by Poncet Marly (1812-1886) who set up his mirror-making business and shop In Bordeaux in 1835 where it remained in business until 1970.
