A large 19th century French Napoleon III chevalet, or cheval mirror, made of rosewood with ebonized details. Turned columns and finials and nicely carved details on the scroll form legs and shell form crest at the top. Cast brass knobs and original castors. Mirror has old silvered patina with some fogging. Excellent quality. All original. Base has been restored and is sturdy. Mirror will be dismantled for shipping.
