An early 19th century French Louis XV style trumeau mirror with a fine oil painting depicting a pastoral courtship scene. Painted pine frame with giltwood decorative border trim. Original mirror with old silvering. This trumeau was part of a boiserie wall. The holes from where it had been fastened have been filled and the surface was repainted. Circa 1800-1820.
