A late 19th century French Napoleon III marquetry jardinière with inlaid veneers of mahogany and exotic woods, in a lattice pattern. Bronze mounted with two handles, gallery and trim and unusual cast bronze ram's head corner decorations. Good restored condition with minor losses. Original zinc liner has a split seam and is not water tight. A beautiful planter for the display of orchids or ferns. Circa 1880-1900. Shipping: $80
