An early 19th century French Louis XVI style marquetry cabinet made of mahogany with inlaid veneers of various exotic woods. In one piece, the top part has a cabinet above two small drawers and the bottom chest has three drawers. Original cast bronze hardware with two keys (bottom lock not working). Top is lined in old brown velvet mohair. Good restored condition with minor veneer loss and replacement. Finish retains a nice luster. Fine craftsmanship. Circa 1800-1840
