A 19th century Louis XV French Armoire Cauchoise from Caux in Normandy. Made of pine with fine hand carving throughout, including a flower basket below the crown, acanthus leaves and large oval medallions with rose branches carved in relief. Original brass hardware, with new working lock and key. Interior has three removable 17" deep shelves. Replaced panel on the back. Corners of crown repaired. Circa 1880-1900
