An early 20th century French double sided painter's easel made of solid oak with metal center ratchets to raise and lower each side. Each side has a ledge to hold the canvas and an adjustable bracket at the top to securely hold the painting in place. Sturdy base with original castors. In good condition with paint stained ledges. May be used as an artist's easel or to hold a painting for display. Circa 1920s
