A 19th century French cast iron bird bath, or fountain, with a pair of birds perched in the center of a shallow basin. Heavy pedestal base with stylized floral relief. Original white painted patina is in good condition with mossy patina and some rust spots. Good quality casting. A beautiful decorative garden element, providing water for backyard birds. Circa 1870-1890.
