18th Century French Louis XV Enfilade or Sideboard
A late 18th century Country French Louis XV style enfilade, or sideboard, made of solid cherry, walnut and oak and finished on all sides. Four dovetailed drawers with cast iron pulls above four raised panel doors with simple hand carved borders and decorative cast iron escutcheons. Original iron hardware with working locks and two keys (no keys for the two right drawers). Well-crafted using mortise and tenon and pegged construction and sitting on six legs. This cabinet was originally used as a counter in a commercial shop. Versatile size with deep proportions and low height, perfect for use as a media console, sideboard or sofa table. Waxed patina.
