A 19th century French Country baby crib, hand crafted will planks of chestnut, with turned oak spindle legs and finials. On the inside of one end there is an Iron latch that when pulled up, flattens the curve of the rocker, stopping the motion. Good craftsmanship with pegged and mortise construction. One leg was restored. May be repurposed as a planter box, a charming home accent for ferns and flowers. Circa 1850-1870.
