A 19th century French bamboo hall tree, or coat rack, of Japonisme design, with a circular beveled mirror and decorative elements attached to a woven back panel. Four hooks at the top are made from the root end of the bamboo shoot, as are the decorative elements at the crown and two large finials. Four bamboo pegs on the sides for hats and coats. Rack for umbrellas and walking sticks. Sturdy and very well-crafted but should be fastened to the wall. Please refer to photos for more details. Circa 1880-1900. 31.5"W x 9.25"D x 79"H
