A 19th century French Louis Philippe Period gilded mirror. Unusual form with gently rounded top corners and distinct serpentine or peaked top. Cushion molded frame has warm gilt finish and pale blue painted border. The curved top corners have bands of sgraffito detail and the bottom has molded corner decorations. Retaining the original mirror with beautiful lightly foxed patina, old silvering and original backboards. Minor gilt touch-ups.
