A 19th century French Louis XV style brass floor lamp. Three finely cast Rococo decorative ornaments at the base with six cast brass feet. Ribbed brass pole with inner brass tube extension adjusts the height from 5-1/2 to 7-1/2 feet tall. Paper label to underside: A. Maire 83 Rue St. Ferréol Marseille. Great quality brass. Cleaned and polished, but not lacquered. In good condition with slightly dented inner tube. Rewired with new cord. Circa 1890-1900.
