A 19th Century French Louis-Philippe Period console made of bookmatched veneer of mahogany with oak as a secondary wood. Sculptural front legs ending in scrolls and resting on a plinth base with curved front. Beautiful dark wood grain with French polish finish. Dovetailed construction. Hidden dovetailed drawer beneath the original black marble top. Minor veneer losses. Circa 1820-1840. 18"D x 38.5"W x 35.75"H
