A Country French Louis XV style bonnetière, or display cabinet, from Normandy made of solid oak. Beautiful hand carved decoration with a flower basket beneath the crown and musical instruments on the door panel. The vitrine has the original glass panes and opens to one removable fixed shelf with an interior depth of 13". The cabinet opens to one fixed shelf and there is one shallow drawer with a ring pull at the bottom. The locks are in working order with two keys. Nice proportions and skilled hand carving.
