An early 20th century Italian Neoclassical style column pedestal, hand-carved from highly figured yellow toned alabaster stone featuring bold natural veining patterns. Built in separate interlocking sections (eight parts) for safer transport and structural stability. Fluted shaft with Greek key border at the middle, resting on a thick gadrooned collar with octagonal tiered base. Square crown top plate with light scratches. Some chipped edges and minor losses. Repaired crack in upper part of column. Circa 1900s
