A 19th century Louis XIII style French fauteuil, or armchair with matching foot stool, or ottoman, made of solid walnut. Sculptural scrolled arms with hand-carved acanthus leaf details. Well-crafted, sturdy frame with curved legs joined by center stretcher. Comfortable seating with tall back. Striped velvet upholstery with nail head trim is in excellent condition, as found.
