A 19th century French earthenware confit pot with traditional yellow glaze. Small drainage hole in bottom for use as a planter. Some chips and losses to glaze. These ordinary earthenware vessels were once used daily in the French country home and have beautiful rustic glazes of yellow, green, ochre and terracotta.
