An 18th century Louis XVI French giltwood mirror. Carved pine frame with warm gilt finish and verdigris painted details. Beautifully detailed hand-carved crest with an orb surrounded by a laurel wreath and garlands that drape down the sides, corner rosette decorations and urn form finials. In very good condition with minor gilt loss. Mirror has nice silvered patina. All original. Circa 1780-1790.
