A late 18th Century French Louis XV style small lady's desk with hinged drop down leather top writing surface. Made of walnut and in two parts with small top cabinet with one interior shelf. Cabinet doors and table surface have beautifully patterned veneer of burled elmwood. Dovetailed drawer on the right side. Working locks with decorative cast brass escutcheons and two keys. Elegant slim cabriole legs. Pegged construction. Pine as a secondary wood. Restoration on legs. Circa 1760-1780.
