A late 18th Century French Louis XV side table from Normandy, made of solid cherry. Rare, elegant serpentine form with shaped top, thick scalloped apron and cabriole legs. Dovetailed drawer one with iron loop pull. Finished on all four sides. Beautiful character to the wood with waxed patina. Pegged construction. This table had been restored over time and the drawer runners were repaired. A versatile size and scale for use as a center table, writing desk. Circa 1780-1800.
