An early 20th century Country French yellow glazed earthenware pottery tian or grésale bowl. Originating from Provence and Southwestern France, these rustic terracotta vessels were standard utilitarian staples in country kitchens. Traditionally used for washing vegetables, separating cream from milk, making bread dough, or preparing cassoulet and duck confit. The bowl features a tapered conical body with an unglazed exterior and a bright yellow glaze coating the interior. Two integrated loop handles on either side and a pointed pouring spout pinched into the front rim. Circa 1920-1940. Shipping: $50
