Early 19th c. French baby crib or planter, c.1820-1840, made of oak with pegged construction. Pierced sides with lattice pattern, a center and two hearts, all hand carved. This was made for an infant and at a later date was used as a planter. Notice two slats have been replaced and a single plank lines the bottom. 40.5"w x 16.5"d x 28"h to the railing and 31"h to the finial. Inside: 14.5"d x 38.5"w
