19th c. French Empire Period cheval, or Psyche mirror, made of solid walnut with beautiful wood grain and waxed patina. Nice proportions and large in scale for a table top mirror. Turned egg-shaped finials, thick mirror with some silvering and light scratches. Bottom bar has a burn mark on the back likely from a candle. Solid brass screws. All original and excellent quality for the age. Circa 1800-1810 40.75"H x 25.75"W x 15.75"D
