A 19th century Louis Philippe drop-leaf dining extension table made of chestnut. Eight turned legs ending in brass sabots and castors. Six new leaves of solid chestnut. Waxed finish. Circa 1820-1830. This table when fully open is almost 15 feet long and seats 18-20 people. The legs have been raised so that the table is now a proper height for dining. The six leaves are of unequal size and range from 17.25-21 inches wide. There is a small restoration on the corner of one drop-leaf. Fully extended: 177.5" x 66" x 30" H Without leaves: 66" diameter x 30" H With leaves dropped: 66" x 34" x 30" H
