A Louis XVI style French buffet à deux corps from Alsace. Made in the 1950's, this marquetry cabinet is well constructed with all the techniques and skills of an 18th century cabinet maker. Made of cherry wood with inlaid walnut decoration. Painted interior with adjustable shelves. Pegged construction. Original brass hardware with working locks and two keys. Dovetailed drawer with oval ring pulls. The ring on the right is slightly different than the left. Circa 1950's.
