Raised panel doors have a pair of urns framed by an elaborately carved border. Deep apron with a central shell motif and trailing vines. Two dovetailed drawers with allover carved pattern. This buffet was part of a bridal trousseau, a gift to the bride and groom, indicated by a small carved heart in the center. Original hardware with working locks and three keys. Interior provides ample storage with one shelf. A very unique piece, well-crafted using pegged construction. Restoration on back left leg and the lip of the right drawer. Waxed finish.
