18th c. Walnut Buffet à Deux Corps

A fine 18th c. buffet à deux corps from Eastern Europe made of solid walnut. Top has two dovetailed drawers for silverware and the original glass doors that open to a velvet lined interior with two shelves (the top shelf is 7"d and the lower shelf is 10"d). Buffet opens to two fixed shelves (the top shelf is 9"d and the lower shelf is 18.5"d) and has a pull out board that was added at a later date. Original brass hardware with working locks and two keys. This small scale buffet has nice proportions and simple hand carved scroll details.
